Arnica has had a long-standing passion for aesthetics. Formal training at the Aveda Institute, skills acquired through her professional work experience at various spas and travel throughout India and Asia resulted in the opening of her own beauty boutique in Kamloops in 2010. Over the years Arnica has taken numerous advanced classes, including master lash extension training from industry leaders around the world bringing the latest trends and skills to her team. The fun, retro vibe in the unique experience created at Sugar & Spice is a reflection of her bubbly personality. Her desire to do what she loves and do it consistently well is reflected in her commitment to providing excellence in customer care with strong values in continued education in order to deliver the best experience possible for our guests. Arnicas love of people and creating meaningful connections with them while enhancing their inner beauty feeds her soul.
The opportunity to join such an amazing team of beautiful, talented, and strong woman inside and out has given Niki the training and support she needed to fall comfortably into her role as shop manager. Her motherly nature and calm organized personality, are only a few of the things that Niki brings to the Sugar and Spice family.
A passion for art and beauty has always had a place in Carlees life, whether as a hobby, interest, craft or career. With the support of her Spice Girl family, and encouragement of the Boss Lady, Carlee received her Nail Technician certificate in 2015, through Nail Techniques training center in Kelowna BC, and began her apprenticeship with Sugar and Spice Beauty Bar. Carlee embraces the opportunity to expand her knowledge and education in the beauty industry. Her love of lashing and passion for skin care allows for diversity in her day and the opportunity to interact with a wide range of clientele. She enjoys customizing services for her lovely guests and making them feel pampered and beautiful.
Shannon has been specializing in eyelash extensions and brow design with the Spice Girl family since May of 2015. She has been a part of the dance community in Kamloops from a young age and it fostered her love of working with people. She enjoys aesthetics because her clients look forward to their visits and leave feeling great about themselves. Shannons passion for the industry drives her to continued learning and growth.
Gabby is excited to announce that she with be returning to her Sugar and Spice family October 1st 2019.
Our Irish beauty Sile is a dedicated Spice girl when it comes to perfection for her clients. She studied Esthetics in Ireland and came to Canada in 2017. Siles passion for the beauty industry does not go un noticed and her loyal clients are proof of that.
Taylor is one of our newest Spice girls, joining the team in November 2018. She has been a licensed Nail Technician since April 2017.You will often find her in the Retro Beach Room planning out a trendy sparkle filled nail design or pampering a client with an indulgent pedicure.Since joining the team Taylor has had the opportunity to expand her esthetics world by adding new services such as Lash lift and tints, Eye browshaping and tinting, and relaxtion facials in our beautiful Medi Spa space.Taylor shines her brightest when she is making her clients feel happy and beautiful.

Our newest addition to Sugar and Spice Beauty Bar. Alyssa joins us with previous experience in the esthetics world and an eagerness to learn. She continues her Volume training with Sugar and Spices Educator and Owner Arnica. Alyssa is already ready to learn new techniques and gives her clients a wonderful experience. For the month of September Alyssa will be offering 10% off of her lash services as she continues to build her clientele and perfect her volume lashes. xo
Jaydah has been part of the Spice girl family since 2018. With her bubbly attitude and contagious smile she is always ready to greet you. Jaydah is heading back to school in the fall to study Nursing and hopes her work load will allow her to continue working part time as our cheerful and fun loving receptionist.
Baby spice joined the family in 2018. She is young at heart and young on her birth certificate, but don't be fooled she is dedicated and driven to earn her title as a Lash Artist. She spends her evenings in the shop greeting our lovely clients with her over the top enthusiasm, and on her spare time you can find Cassidy in a chair lashing away as she works through her lashing apprenticeship.
This mommy to be will be leaving us temporarily at the end of May, to begin her Maternity leave for a year. xo
